My Story

After accepting the call to minister at the age of twelve, Pastor Willis soon began evangelistic ministry and carried the great Gospel everywhere he went by means of both the spoken Word and music ministry. He was more known for his gift of singing than his preaching abilities and would travel to many churches around the country with his mother, Evangelist Joann Barnes, and minister in song.

As C.L. Willis matriculated through life, he had a desire to pursue a higher education and wanted more than a high school diploma. In 2005, he received a Certificate of Achievement in Hermeneutics from the Aenon Bible College in Richmond, CA. In August 2007, he graduated from Solano Community College and received his Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. In December 2008, World Christianship Ministries awarded him the Doctorate of Divinity and Certificate of Achievement in from the Farr West Theological Research Seminary Inc. in Richmond, CA and received a Doctorate of Evangelism. Then in 2010, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College.

He has worked for over 20 years counseling the mentally disabled and youth and young adults. He is a well respected Bible teacher, a voice of the Christian faith and has ministered to thousands over the years. In 2015, As part of the Norhtern California District Council, Pastor C.L. Willis, was ordanied under Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), Northern California District Council where Bishop Noel Jones is the Diocosean.

Not only is he a teacher, mentor, minister, recording artist, praiser, worshipper, counselor and preacher but also a loving and dedicated husband and father. In August 2016, he released his 1st and much anticipated cd project entitled “ZION” by Pastor C. L. Willis & V.O.T.
